Hello:
Today I wanted to explain a bit about butterflies, some species, the last time in its chrysalis ...
Following the studies that have been conducted, it is estimated that today there are between 14 000 and 18 000 species of butterflies and moths.

Depending on the species takes 7-21 days in its chrysalis, but most takes 2 weeks.
We speak of a rather pretty butterfly is endangered:
Each year, millions of migrating monarch butterflies travel about 5,000 miles to spend autumn in Mexico 5 months.
In this process million of them die.
Monarch females lay about 400 small eggs.
Of these only a few are born.
Caterpillars leaving the eggs after three to five days. The colors of your body are black, white and bright yellow are shaped rings in your body.

During the last molting caterpillar becomes a pupa green that is becoming transparent until you can see the colors black and orange wings of a monarch butterfly. This period lasts for 8 to 13 days.
After the period the adult begins to break the cocoon and comes out completely. After 3 days the Monarchs begin to develop their bodies and start another cycle of life.

The monarch butterfly has bright colors to scare away potential predators. This evolutionary strategy works because most predators associate bright colors unpleasant properties. This phenomenon is called warning coloration.
Monarch specialists are herbivores, consuming only host plants quiebramuelas the family (milkweed).
These butterflies die to step 4 to 5 weeks old ...

When Fall arrives Monarch Butterflies begin their migration journey from southern Canada to be able to spend the winter in the pine and fir in the states of Mexico and Michoacan forests.
Illegal deforestation committed in the wintering grounds of the monarch led to a drastic reduction in the butterfly population.

This butterfly is one of the beautiful things we lose by ignoring pollution and not fight his capture.
I hope this does not come butterflies disappear from our planet.
Well, you can always help nature.
A kiss. :)
